1. Service Provisions
The Client shall select from the following managed service tiers. Each operates on a rolling monthly basis.
Standard Business Tier — £8/month
A professional web presence optimised for visibility and performance.
- Bespoke website configuration and deployment
- Managed high‑performance HTML hosting
- Professional email routing and forwarding
- Maintenance: Next-working-day deployment for batched content updates
- Automated daily backups with recovery support
- Storage: 7GB high-speed disk quota
- Rolling 30‑day agreement
Enhanced Tier — £10/month
Designed for interactive sites requiring dynamic features or higher resource allocation.
- All features included in the Standard Tier
- Support for dynamic logic (forms, booking integrations, automated notifications)
- Enhanced resource allocation for media‑rich content
- Direct SFTP access provided for autonomous updates
- Storage: 10GB high-speed disk quota
- Rolling 30‑day agreement
Exclusions: Domain name registration and renewal costs are the responsibility of the Client. SoreTech provides technical guidance on third-party domain procurement at no extra cost.
2. Financial Terms
- Billing: The Monthly Fee is payable in advance on the first day of each calendar month.
- Arrears: Access to services is automatically suspended if the previous month’s balance remains outstanding by the first of the following month.
- Maintenance Scope: Standard maintenance includes content updates. Significant structural changes, rebranding, or new feature development may be quoted as a separate project.
3. Term and Termination
This Agreement remains in effect until terminated. Either party may terminate the service by providing 30 days’ written notice via email. Service will conclude at the end of the final paid billing cycle.
4. Client Obligations
- Maintaining ownership and renewal of the associated domain name.
- Provision of all necessary branding, copy, and imagery.
- Ensuring all hosted content complies with the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).
Note: While SoreTech maintains a robust backup schedule for system integrity, the Client is encouraged to retain local copies of vital assets.
5. Architecture and Operational Limits
To ensure a secure and resilient environment for small businesses, the following parameters apply:
- Infrastructure: Services are architected for small-business traffic profiles. Enterprise-level load balancing and high-concurrency scaling are not supported.
- Payment Security: SoreTech is a non-PCI DSS environment. We do not store or transmit financial card data. Payment features must be integrated via secure third-party processors.
- Data Protection: SoreTech operates under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Unless a separate Data Processing Agreement is signed, the Client remains the Data Controller for all end-user information.
6. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
7. Acceptance
Formal acceptance is confirmed by replying to the delivery email. This confirmation is securely logged for audit purposes, establishing the commencement of the Agreement.
