1. Scope of Services
The Client may choose from the following service tiers. Each includes the features listed below and operates on a monthly rolling basis.
Starter Site — £8/month
A professional website with up to 4 distinct content sections. Perfect as an online business card, with standard features like photo carousel & links to external resources.

- Secure web hosting for your site
- Professional Email Addresses & Smart Forwarding
- Up to 12 free content edits per year (done by SoreTech)
- Free updates to contact details
- Disk quota: 250MB
- Cancel anytime (30-day notice)
Business Site — £10/month
A larger, multi-page website with up to 10 content sections. Built as a fast, secure HTML site — no WordPress, no plugins. Includes optional SFTP access for uploading media or documents.

- Static HTML build — fast, lightweight
- Free restore from previous day’s backup available on request
- Disk quota: 500MB

Self-Managed Site — £12/month
Full control with support available when needed (£20/hour) SoreTech installs html or a WordPress template and sets up secure hosting — the Client manages content, updates, and media.

- Basic theme installation
- Secure SFTP access to your site folder
- You manage content & updates
- Disk quota: 1GB
- Free restore from previous day’s backup available on request
- Cancel anytime (30-day notice)
Additional Costs: The cost of your domain name (purchased separately by you). These start from around £5 a year. SoreTech can guide you.
Any services outside the scope of the selected tier may be quoted separately and agreed in writing.
2. Fees and Payments
- Monthly Fee: The selected service has a recurring monthly fee of £8, £10, or £12, depending on the tier chosen.
- Payment Due Date: Payment is due on the first day of each month.
- Service Suspension: The service will be suspended on the first day of the month if the previous month's payment was not received.
- Additional Costs: The client is responsible for the cost of their domain name. Additonal content edits beyond the twelve included
3. Agreement Duration and Cancellation
This Agreement is a monthly rolling contract. Either party may cancel with 30 days’ written notice via email. The service remains active for the full month of the last payment received.
4. Client Responsibilities
- Purchase and manage their own domain name
- Provide all content, branding, and imagery
- Retain ownership of all provided materials
- Adhere to SoreTech’s Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Note: Nightly backups are performed as part of infrastructure hygiene. Restore requests are supported but backups are not guaranteed under this Agreement.
5. Limitations and Disclaimers
SoreTech is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the service. While SoreTech aims to provide reliable hosting, no specific uptime guarantee is offered unless agreed separately.
SoreTech’s services are tailored for small businesses and sole traders. They are not PCI compliant and do not involve storing personal data on the Client’s behalf.
6. Data Protection and Privacy
Personal data is processed as described in the SoreTech Privacy Notice. Lawful bases include contract and legal obligation. Agreement replies are logged and retained for audit purposes.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by UK law. Disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
8. Acceptance
To accept this agreement, reply to the email containing this document. Your reply will be securely logged and archived for audit purposes. No third-party portal is used.
