2. Fees and Payments
- Monthly Fee: £8, £10, or £12 depending on the plan chosen.
- Payment Due Date: Payment is due on the first day of each month.
- Service Suspension: Services are suspended on the first day of the month if the previous month’s payment has not been received.
- Content Updates: For Business and Enhanced plans, updates should be batched where possible. I usually complete these by the next working day, depending on workload. This is an aim rather than a guaranteed service level. Extensive structural changes or new features may be quoted separately.
3. Agreement Duration and Cancellation
This Agreement operates on a rolling monthly basis. Either party may cancel with 30 days’ written notice via email. The service remains active for the full month of the last payment received.
4. Client Responsibilities
- Purchase and manage their own domain name
- Provide all content, branding, and imagery
- Retain ownership of all provided materials
- Adhere to SoreTech’s Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Note: Nightly backups are performed as part of infrastructure hygiene. Restore requests are supported, but backups are not guaranteed under this Agreement.
5. Service Scope and Limitations
To ensure the service remains secure, predictable, and cost‑effective for small businesses, SoreTech operates within the following boundaries:
- Small‑Business Focus: The service is designed for sole traders and small organisations. Enterprise‑level scalability or high‑availability architectures are not included.
- No Cardholder Data Processing: SoreTech does not process, store, or transmit payment card information and does not provide PCI DSS‑compliant services.
- Minimal Data Handling: Only essential operational data required to deliver the service is processed.
- GDPR Responsibilities: SoreTech adheres to core GDPR principles but does not act as a data processor for client‑held personal data.
- Content & Design Changes: Larger design changes, structural alterations, or full redesigns fall outside the standard service and may require a separate agreement.
